Before you build

  • Each show sets its own stand heights, rules and deadlines in its exhibitor manual. Custom and two-storey stands usually need plans and structural calculations approved well before build-up.
  • Build-up and breakdown times are set by the organiser, so the stand has to be designed to go up and come down in the time allowed.
  • Materials have to meet the fire safety standards set for the show, with certificates to prove it.
